A V Ridout Funeral Service was established over 85 years ago and we are the longest established funeral directors in Highcliffe-on-Sea.
The team at our Highcliffe-on-Sea funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one.
Here at A V Ridout Funeral Service we also offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.
If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us in any of our funeral homes, or if you’d rather we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.

Kerry Crowson
Funeral Director and Branch Manager
Kerry has been at Funeral Partners since February 2020. She has worked in the Funeral industry for the last 10 years, as a Funeral Arranger and Funeral Director.
She enjoys most about the job “caring for our families and their loved ones”.
Kerry is a mum of five and granny to her two beautiful grandchildren.
In her spare time she enjoys walking and spending time with her family.
Caroline Hall
Funeral Director
Caroline joined A V Ridout in 2020. She previously worked for the NHS as a Retinal Screener for the Diabetic Team.
When asked what she enjoys the most about working at A V Ridout Caroline said: “Being able to take the pressure off the families in their time of need and being part of a great team”.
3 Years ago Caroline learned to play the bagpipes, which is not an easy instrument to learn and is now teaching herself piano.
In her spare time Caroline loves spending time with her grandchildren, doing arts & crafts and cooking.
